Does the beginning (ish) of each month creep in much the same way? What have I missed? Slow start to the morning (not bad); up in the 10s. headache which quickly dissipated. According to Etymologicum Magnum, her name means “concealing the knowledge” (καλύπτουσα το διανοούμενον, kalýptousa to dianooúmenon), which – combined with the Homeric epithet δολόεσσα (dolóessa, meaning “subtle” or “wily”) – justifies the eremitic character of Calypso and her island.
